We're back in the gallery and catching our collective breath following the most succesful Auckland Art Fair to date. With record numbers of people in attendance, and an incredible selection of work on display, there was a real sense of energy and excitement in the air that wasn't dulled by the rather chilly temperatures. Opening night saw the usual collision of art, society, and fashion, but things got a little more raucous on Friday night at the artist's party. And on Sunday afternoon people piled into the Page Blackie Gallery stand to hear Toby Raine speak about his work with director James Blackie.
Thanks as ever to all of our artists and supporters, and to all those other exhibiting artists and galleries, and of course to the team of organisers of AAF2018.
See you next time!
