Page Galleries provide professional documented art valuations for individual artworks and private and public collections, whether for auction, sales, or insurance purposes.
Page Galleries maintains a strong focus on the secondary market, handling resales of significant artworks by both contemporary and historical New Zealand artists.
Page Galleries is committed to sharing our knowledge and experience of the New Zealand art market. Art groups are a great option for buying art; with members paying a regular sum into a buying fund to purchase new works, which are then held by individual members on rotation.
Page Galleries is a contemporary art dealership in the heart of Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington, Aotearoa New Zealand.
Our gallery represents leading contemporary artists Ed Bats, Derek Cowie, Dick Frizzell, Max Gimblett, Michael Hight, Paul Maseyk, Karl Maughan, Sarah Munro, Lisa Reihana, Reuben Paterson, Heather Straka, Ngataiharuru Taepa, Elizabeth Thomson, Jasmine Togo-Brisby, John Walsh, and Emily Wolfe.
Alongside our represented artists Page Galleries runs a parallel exhibition programme to promote the practice of emerging and mid career artists as well as other special projects across our multiple exhibition spaces.
In 1987 Marcia Page opened the doors of her first Wellington art gallery. Initially focused on historical artworks, the gallery quickly established itself as an authority in fine arts. Today, Page Galleries maintains a strong focus on the secondary market, with resales of significant works by artists including Rita Angus, Tony Fomison, Charles Goldie, Pat Hanly, Ralph Hotere, Frances Hodgkins, Colin McCahon, Gordon Walters, Toss Woollaston, and Robin White.
